As promised to a fellow blogger, I am testing 'FIFA 2000' on my system running Windows XP just now. After installed, the game run fine just as he suggested that some of his friend did too. Seems no problem. Let me think about what could caused the difference.

That is a long time ago.
I think I also have the 99, 01,02,03 version, stopped after that, since the control become so complicated.
you managed to select controller for the match and started it? then, when the game start, your keyboard does not respond?
If you do not mind, I may try to remote into your computer to see it for myself. We will co-ordinate on that after the Chinese New Year, ok?

We will co-ordinate on that after Chinese New Year. Most properly using Windows Remote Assistance (from Win XP), or a freeware named 'VNC'.
But no promise that I can solve the problem, ok? Just don't want to disappoint you if we wasted our effort.
